Location: Greater Manchester (home based with regional travel)

Your newpanyA well established organisation with a rapidly expanding estate across the UK and Ireland is continuing to invest in the growth of its Facilities team. Due to ongoing site openings and refurbishment projects, they are now seeking experienced Carpenter & Joiners to support works across the North of England and Scotland.
Your new role
As a Joiner, you will be responsible for the maintenance of existing sites and the fit out of new locations. This is a mobile, home based role covering Greater Manchester, with frequent travel across North England and Scotland, and occasional travel elsewhere in the UK and Ireland.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Carrying out first and second fix joinery works acrossmercial environments
2. Dry lining, ceiling installation, and general building works
3. Supporting shop fit outs and refurbishment projects
4. Assisting with strip out and re fit works where required
5. Working alongside subcontractors and other trades on site
6. Ensuring that all workplies with current building regulations and standards
7. Raising material requests and maintaining accurate stock records
8. Executing work schedules in line with agreed programmes
9. Carrying out site walk rounds and logging required remedial works
10. Maintaining high standards of health & safety and PPEpliance
11. Ensuring tools and equipment are used safely and correctly at all times
What you’ll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have:
12. A recognised qualification as a Carpenter & Joiner
13. Proven experience inmercial building or fit out environments
14. Experience in dry lining, ceilings, and 1st & 2nd fix joinery
15. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
16. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow drawings and instructions
17. Good time management and organisational skills
18. Ability toplete basic paperwork and job documentation
19. CSCS card
20. Full UK driving licence
21. Flexibility to travel regularly across the UK and Ireland
Desirable (but not essential):
22. Experience in shop fit outs or shopping centre environments
23. Previous strip out and refurbishment experience
24. Asbestos awareness certification
25. First Aid training
26. Supervisory or team lead experience
