Service Delivery Co-ordinator - 6 Months FTC

Your typical working hours will be:

* 7am -3.30pm Monday – Friday

Key Accountabilities:

* To work closely with the supervisors across all services with the delivery of day-to-day service
* Monitor crew delivery via Whitespace and ensure crews are instructed clearly and carrying out day to day tasks
* Responsible for co-ordinating colleagues work schedules across all services when required.
* Responsible for the upkeep of the back-end mapping and schedules to ensure all crews are given correct running lists & running lists are kept up to date for reporting requirements
* Assist the Operations manager in running reports both internally and for the council and to ensure all reports are accurate and completed to a high level
* Co-ordinate the day-to-day reporting requirements of the supervisors and identify where improvements can be made.
* Helps deal with enquires and complaints for Mid Sussex and directs the enquiry to the correct person.
* Supports the supervisors to complete the end of day reports.
* Understand the current ways of working across the operations and continue to explore and articulate ways of process improvement.
* In addition is prepared to work flexibly and supports the co-ordination of other business requests and activities when they occur.
* Be willing to take on more roles & duties should it be required
* Maintains an excellent knowledge of the service and helps share this knowledge with others in the team.
* Maintain strong relationships with residents, clients, and internal teams.
* Support managers with operational projects and improvements.
* Provide scanning, filing, minute‑taking, and document control.
* Record accident/incident reports and liaise with insurance processes.

Essential technical and professional skills, knowledge and qualifications

* Takes accountability for own workload, and is able to act with limited supervision
* Has considerable work experience within the Environmental Services industry
* Has excellent communication, accurate recording, and computer skills.
* Is well organised
* Works well with others in a team environment
* Good knowledge of Microsoft applications
* Passionate and committed to seeking personal development / growth
