The Role: Business Support and Systems Assistant
We're looking for a highly organised and detail-driven Business Support and Systems Assistant to join our Head Office team in Bakewell.
You'll work closely with one of our Company Directors to keep our systems running smoothly, maintain compliance standards and support operations across our venues.
It's an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in office administration, operations, facilities coordination or IT systems who's looking for variety and responsibility.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Systems Management (Primary Focus)
2. Support and maintain our Zonal suite including Menu Manager, Aztec, Acquire and Enterprise
3. Troubleshoot issues, coordinate with Zonal support and oversee till updates or menu rollouts
4. Monitor data accuracy and system integrations across venues
5. Assist with invoicing and other organisational tools
6. Compliance & Operational Administration
7. Manage health and safety, licensing and venue compliance documentation
8. Maintain audit records and ensure systems align with compliance requirements
9. Liaise with contractors and vendors for maintenance and inspections
10. IT & Technical Coordination
11. Liaise with external IT support for system upgrades, device maintenance and connectivity
12. Track and manage hardware inventory including devices and tablets
13. Support the smooth running of Mac, iOS and Microsoft systems across the business
14. Venue & Maintenance Support
15. Work with the Director and maintenance team to plan works, source materials and track progress
16. Support venue presentation and décor maintenance, coordinating suppliers, quotes and schedules
17. Contribute to wider venue management projects and operational improvements
18. Procurement & Budget Management
19. Assist with ordering and purchasing for venues and Head Office, ensuring adherence to budgets
20. Support stock control and cost management through accurate documentation
6. Multi-Tasking & Prioritisation
* Balance multiple tasks and projects efficiently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
* Communicate clearly across departments to ensure deadlines are met and operations run smoothly
Key Skills & Attributes
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Process-driven and comfortable managing documentation
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Confident using computers and systems (Mac/iOS and Microsoft Office essential)
* Proactive, hands-on problem solver with a calm and positive approach
The Details
* Location: Bakewell Head Office – this is an office-based role, so you'll need to live locally or within a commutable distance
* Hours: Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required during new venue openings or essential maintenance
* Salary: From £26,000 per year
