We are working with an impressive global enterprise who are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. This is a permanent role paying up to £63,000 with hybrid working and can be based out of the Oxford or Newcastle office.
You will be joining a highly skilled Infrastructure team responsible for managing and maintaining their hybrid technology stack supporting on-premises and cloud based services. This vacancy will also get involved with upcoming IT projects, leading IT infrastructure changes across EMEA and APAC.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Managing and maintaining cloud and on-premise servers
2. Design and deliver infrastructure related projects within Azure, MS365, SharePoint, Endpoint Manager/InTune
3. Act as escalation point for 1st and 2nd line teams
4. Maintain backup and storage solutions
5. Support network infrastructure
6. Promote best practice across Cyber Security solutions
Skills and experience:
7. Strong understanding of hybrid infrastructure - a blend of on-premise and cloud based servers
8. Proven experience operating in or certified in ITIL v3/v4
9. Hands-on experience with Active Directory, SharePoint, Azure AD, SCCM, InTune, Windows Server, Azure, networking solutions
10. Understanding of Cyber Security Fundamentals
Salary on offer up to £63,000, with hybrid working (2 days in the office). Can be based in Oxford, Newcastle or Sowerby Bridge.
