A prestigious NHS Hospital in Stockton-on-Tees is looking for a Consultant Radiologist with a special interest in Breast Screening to join their Radiology team to help guide and develop the department. The Trust is currently making a significant investment in breast services with the introduction of additional symptomatic breast clinics and a recent increase in the Breast Screening Workload.
The successful candidate will participate in the Breast Screening Service and may be required to for you to participate in Breast clinics. You will join a team of 10 other consultants and will be supported by a range of nurses, junior doctors and Specialty Doctors.
The Trust provides state-of-the-art facilities and has recently upgraded their MR scanners and has a new Teleradiology system. The hospital also has excellent on-site education facilities.
The hospital is offering an excellent basic salary, dependent on experience, and provides pay enhancements for any out of hours, shift and overtime work that you do. Annual remuneration bonuses are provided along with temporary accommodation if required.
