Generative artificial intelligence (AI) describes algorithms that can be used to produce new content, including audio, code, images, text, simulations, and videos. It is developing all the time and is now being used as a support mechanism for all kinds of content-based creations. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Nurse to join our well-established specialist Respiratory Nurse team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation trust.

The current team provide specialist respiratory care throughout the Bristol site, across inpatient and outpatient services, to patients with both acute and chronic respiratory conditions.

We are seeking a nurse with a good understanding of long-term respiratory conditions, excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously within the supportive environment of a forward thinking and experienced team.

·Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care and provide the highest standard of support to patients and their families with respiratory disease.

·Act as a resource, providing clinical advice and support as required to help nursing and medical staff managing the patient with chronic respiratory problems appropriately.

·Provide a liaison role ensuring a point of contact for in patient wards and a link to community services, including domiciliary visits as appropriate.

·Provide health promotion to patients and their families, to include self-management and enable patients to recognise early signs of deterioration and when to seek help.

Excellent communication skills and teamwork are imperative for this post.
