At our ARU Writtle campus, we specialise in animal, environmental, agricultural and horticultural courses, for learners aged 16 to 18, adult learners, undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
About the Role:
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated professional to join our Safeguarding Team as a Safeguarding Adviser.
This is a key role in ensuring the safety and welfare of students at Writtle College by providing help, support and appropriate responses to staff and students.
You will monitor, escalate and signpost concerns related to the welfare of children, vulnerable adults, or other at-risk groups to suitable internal and external services and agencies.
To succeed in your application, it is vital that you have experience of working with young people and practical knowledge of following statutory guidance in working with young people and/or vulnerable adults, as well as dealing with confidential/sensitive issues including Safeguarding and Prevent. You will have a degree, or be part qualified in a relevant professional qualification at degree level appropriate to the role, or have demonstrable appropriate level of experience and evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the role.
