Tasks and Qualifications:
Principal Accountabilities
1. Carry out MHE equipment servicing in accordance to the Dematic standards as set out in the equipment manuals
2. To complete the relevant service records.
3. Resolve within a reasonable time any equipment faults – Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / PLC / PC
4. Prioritise system faults
5. To ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation.
6. To ensure quality of output
7. To complete written reports
8. To complete weekly timesheets
9. To ensure on-site spares are kept at optimum levels
10. Identify continuous improvement and sales opportunities
Knowledge, experience and qualifications
11. Recognised qualification in mechanical/electrical/electronic disciplines
12. 2 years work history in similar industry
13. Good Health and Safety awareness
14. A working understanding of mechanical, electrical & electronic technical manuals & drawings
15. Basic understanding of distributed control systems
16. LEEA Part 1 Group 1
17. Trained to work at height
