The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an Office and Project Manager to join our Rapid Diagnostics – Infectious Disease Business. The role would be based in Abbott House, Maidenhead, Berkshire and would report to the General Manager UKI & Nordics.
What You’ll Do
As an Office & Project Manager you responsible for the coordination of administration support related to purchasing and invoicing, office administration, internal and external events management, and project management. More specifically:
1. Primary contact person for raising purchase orders and manage invoicing.
2. Coordinate vendor agreements including Master services agreements and scope of works (SOW), enroll vendors.
3. Coordinate approval of expenses with procurement.
4. Identifying cost-reduction opportunities, managing suppliers, improving quality, reviewing contracts and improving procurement processes
5. Sets up procedures on purchasing that will benefit the company in terms of cost reduction, quality and delivery. Source and negotiate goods at reasonable prices, monitor inventory and purchase contract renewal.
6. Schedule, organize and monitor events (internal/external) such as congresses and business conferences/meetings.
7. Arrange travel, hotel and transportation requirements for customers at defined business events.
8. Manage compliance documentation related to sales activities.
9. Administration duties for the general manager including expenses and travel arrangements.
10. Support the onboarding related tasks and training for the new joiners
11. Coordinate sales support material warehousing and ensuring controls for managing promo material are in place
12. Coordinate key projects as required by the General Manager.
Required qualifications/Profile
13. Bachelor’s Degree or diploma
14. Relevant experience in a similar admin role
15. Microsoft office proficient
