Join the Commercial Simulation Binary team as a Simulation Software Engineer (Entry level), part of the SW Engineering team supporting Training Solutions.
Hiring details:
1. This requisition is for a locally hired position in Crawley. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
2. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities:
3. Generating, analysing, debugging, documenting and testing software that simulates the characteristics of aircraft systems based on system design documents
4. Integrating software components into a fully functional software system
5. Developing and executing test procedures documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met
6. Developing, selecting, and deploying software processes, tools and metrics
7. Supporting qualifications of full flight simulators
8. The role will also support software integration and validation on the local flight training devices and possibly other locations as required to ensure successful integration and acceptance of software
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
9. Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10. Good knowledge of C/C++ principles and practices
11. Able to interpret engineering math and physics concepts and implement as software models and algorithms
12. Ability to work effectively within an agile development team and with people across the globe
13. Ability to communicate complex software concepts in both written and verbal formats to management as well as the technical team
