Location: HMNB Clyde, near Dumbarton
Salary: £15.26 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday, 07:00 - 15:00

About the Role
We’re recruiting an experienced and motivated Chef to join our catering team at HMNB Clyde, part of the ESS - Compass Group.
You’ll play an important part in providing high-quality, freshly prepared meals for 200-400 Service Personnel in a busy canteen environment, working within a friendly and professional team of 14.
Shift Details
Hours: 35 hours per week
Days: Sunday to Thursday
Shift: 07:00 - 15:00 (includes 30-minute unpaid break)
Meal Service Times:
* Breakfast: 06:30 - 08:15
* Lunch: 11:30 - 13:00
* Dinner: 17:30 - 19:30
Experience and Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar chef or catering role - essential
* Relevant catering qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) - desirable
* Sound knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards
* Team player with good communication and time management skills
* Reliable, flexible, and professional approach to work
