Children's Assessment Advanced Social Worker
Join our Children’s Assessment Team based in Reigate as an Advanced Social Worker. This role supports agile working arrangements, combining home and office work.
Responsibilities
* Conduct initial assessments and establish working relationships with families and professionals.
* Engage with families and networks to understand presenting concerns and determine the need for statutory services.
* Develop and implement plans to support families at a lower level when statutory services are not required.
* Receive high‑quality supervision and contribute to the development of team skills and knowledge.
* Occasionally deputise for the Team Manager and support managerial duties.
* Participate in county‑wide learning activities organised by the Surrey Children’s Service Academy.
Qualifications
* Qualified Social Work degree and SWE Registration.
* Car driver with a valid UK licence and willingness to travel across the region.
* ASYE completed within two years of qualifying.
* At least three years post‑qualified experience.
