We are looking to appoint to a secondment into the position of Senior Theatre Practitioner to cover Anaesthesia. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to ensure the highest standards of clinical care and practice are maintained. Working as a skilled member of the Theatre team in leading, providing and maintaining high standards of peri-operative care. You will have a higher knowledge of team leadership and management of human and financial resources and a personable nature. You will be innovative within your approach, able to prioritise your own workload and that of others as well as having excellent communication skills. Demonstrate a flexible approach to working and will co-ordinate with other colleagues in multi-disciplinary teams. A broad experience and knowledge of Human Resource processes is desirable. Lead by example and display a leadership style that empowers staff and nurtures development at all levels. Act independently and use own initiative and inspire others through action and setting a professional and positive example, challenging traditional practices and encourage innovative problem solving amongst staff. To carry overall responsibility and accountability for their department or area. To promote a patient-focussed approach to care in collaboration with carers and relevant healthcare professionals. To be responsible for developing and sustaining own knowledge, clinical skills and professional awareness. Facilitate staff to fulfil CPD requirements and to maintain a professional profile.
