A leading public sector housing provider is seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to deliver a responsive, high-quality, andmercially focused procurement service. This role is central to delivering the organisation’s procurement programme and supporting its corporate strategy through effective business partnering.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead procurement projects inpliance with internal policies and public sector regulations.
2. Ensure contracts meet statutory requirements including PCR 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023.
3. Manage supplier relationships and support contract management across business groups.
4. Maintain the contracts register and provide supplier appraisal insights.
5. Delivermercial negotiations and support divisionalmissioning needs.
6. Produce accurate reports for senior leadership and contribute to procurement risk management.
What We’re Looking For
7. MCIPS qualified or working towards certification.
8. Strong experience in public sector procurement, ideally within housing or similar environments.
9. Proven ability to manage procurement programmes with stakeholder engagement.
10. Excellent knowledge of procurement legislation, standards, and best practices.
11. Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
