About The Role
This is an exciting new opportunity within the Public Engagement Operations Team. The role will support the Deputy Operations Manager in ensuring the smooth and efficient coordination of school bookings across all Historic Royal Palaces (HRP) sites. Key Responsibilities
* Bookings Coordination: Support the day-to-day management of school bookings, ensuring a seamless experience for visiting schools.
* Team Support: Recruit, train, supervise, and support the Learning Assistant team to deliver exceptional customer service.
* System Administration: Act as a superuser for the school bookings database (kinetics)—managing, programming, and optimising its use. Supporting data protection compliance and reporting.
* Casual Staff Management: Oversee the Public Engagement Assistant casual pool, recruiting, training and preparing rotas for use across the directorate.
* Administrative Support: Provide essential support for the delivery of schools’ programmes, including on-site, off-site, and special project work.
About You
What we’re looking for:
* Strong administrative and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Experience delivering outstanding customer service, ideally in a relevant sector.
* Confidence with databases and digital systems (experience with Kinetics is a plus).
* Experience supervising, training or supporting staff/volunteers.
* Knowledge of GDPR and data handling best practices.
* Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
* Enjoys working collaboratively with a range of teams and stakeholders.
* A proactive problem solver who thrives on improving systems and processes.
* Flexibility to work across our London sites and occasional weekend/evening work.
An Enhanced DBS check is a requirement of this role.

Salary: £34,030 per annum
