Role: Sub Agent
Location: Central London
Contract Length: 12 Months
Pay: £450 - £500 per day
My client is a Tier 1 contractor based in Central London, who is currently looking for a Sub Agent on a 12 month contract with possible extension. This is a great opportunity to work with one of the biggest companies for Infrastructure and Construction in the U.K.
Responsibilities:
Ensure all permits ready for site work to commence
Ensure the Inspection and Test Plans, and Quality Check Sheets are completed as soon as the checks can be completed
Write and Approve method statements and risk assessments and ensure they are being followed throughout the works
Checking design drawings and reporting any issues or inconsistencies
Liaise with other Sections to ensure a smooth flow of work.
Management of Section Engineers, Site Engineers, Section Managers and Foreman
Experience delivering either rail, civil or highways engineering schemes within a Civils environment
Drive construction phase of the project
Manage Quality & Environmental plans on site
Requirements:
Previous experience working on rail based projects
A valid PTS
Tier one contractor experience within the infrastructure sector
Forward thinking and will work with the team to ensure the project runs smoothly
Worked within the rail industry (is a preference)
Degree educated in an engineering discipline OR equivalent experience
CSCS card
Able to produce and explain accurate plans and drawings
