About the Role
Baguley Pharmacy in Manchester is seeking a qualified and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our service-led community pharmacy. This is a clinically driven role with emphasis on delivering high-quality NHS and private services. Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate, but applicants must already be registered with the GPhC.
Role Overview
You will dispense medications, provide expert advice, deliver NHS and private clinical services, and support patients with both minor ailments and long-term conditions. This role offers an excellent opportunity to further develop clinical skills in a progressive and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Dispense prescribed medications accurately and safely
* Provide advice on medication usage, side effects, and interactions
* Monitor patient responses and collaborate with healthcare professionals
* Maintain prescription records and ensure compliance with data protection
* Manage medication inventory and stock availability
* Educate patients on health conditions and adherence
* Deliver NHS services including CPCS, NMS, structured medication reviews, hypertension case finding, smoking cessation, and vaccination programmes
* Provide private services such as travel health consultations, weight management, private prescribing (if qualified), and health screening
* Supervise and support pharmacy team members
* Contribute to service development and business growth
Candidate Requirements
* Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
* Eligible to work in the UK under Skilled Worker visa (sponsorship available)
* Strong clinical knowledge and patient-focused approach
* Excellent communication and consultation skills
* Ability to deliver NHS pharmacy services confidently
* Independent Prescriber qualification (or willingness to train)
* Community pharmacy experience
Compensation and Benefits
* Pay: £35,852–£64,421 per year
* UK Skilled Worker visa sponsorship available
