We are recruiting a Job Evaluation Consultant to conduct a full review of our global job grades, focusing on non-fee earner roles. The role involves mapping roles for consistency, considering salaries and contract types, with a global perspective and compliance with the European Directive legislation.
Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm; flexible working requests are considered.
Candidate Overview
We are seeking candidates with the following skills and experience:
* Proven experience in job evaluation, preferably within professional services.
* Strong understanding of job evaluation methodologies and frameworks.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
* Ability to conduct comprehensive job evaluations, ensuring consistency and fairness across roles, reviewing titles, roles, and responsibilities.
* Establish clear criteria for each grade, including skills, experience, responsibilities, and impact, aligning the grade structure with the firm’s strategy.
* Assess employee performance and responsibilities against defined criteria.
* Provide expert advice on job evaluation methodologies and best practices, such as point factor evaluation or competency mapping.
* Conduct market research and benchmarking to keep pay structures competitive and compliant, recommending appropriate pay grades.
* Consult with HR and Senior Leaders during the mapping process.
* Prepare and present reports on evaluation findings and recommendations.
* Communicate the new structure and its impact on employees’ grades and salaries clearly.
* Offer training and support during the transition to the new structure.
