Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-standard dishes, ensuring smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods, and contributing to menu development with fresh ideas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standards.
* Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with food safety regulations.
* Work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
* Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimizing waste.
* Collaborate with the Head Chef and team on new menu ideas and daily specials.
* Ensure consistent quality and portion control.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a fast-paced kitchen (bistro/casual dining preferred).
* Strong culinary skills and a passion for fresh, seasonal cooking.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure.
* Relevant culinary qualifications (preferred but not essential).
Pay: £15.00 - £17.00 per hour
