At Welland Valley Vets, we're a small, independent practice that puts pets and their owners at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for a Veterinary Receptionist & Practice Administrator to join our team, combining front of house responsibilities with practice administration.
About the Role
As the first face and voice our clients encounter, you will:
* Welcome pets and their owners with genuine warmth, friendliness, and compassion
* Help clients feel heard, supported, and cared for, especially during emotional moments
* Create a calm, positive atmosphere in a sometimes busy environment
* Manage appointments, phone calls, and emails with care and professionalism
* Support our team with accurate, well-organised admin
The Perfect Candidate
You are someone who:
* Has previous veterinary receptionist experience
* Is naturally friendly, approachable, and empathetic
* Thrives on making clients feel at ease and providing excellent customer care
* Works in an organised and efficient way with attention to detail
* Is a team player, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive workplace
* Has a can-do attitude and willingness to learn
