Our client, a leading financial services firm is looking to hire a Commercial lawyer to join their legal team on a fixed term contract basis. You will be operating autonomously as part of the legal team working closely with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
* Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a host of commercial contracts across various functions of the business. These will include various terms of business, side letters, IT contracts, supplier agreements, and master service agreements etc.
* Providing ongoing legal and risk-mitigation advice across various areas of law such as data protection, corporate governance, employment etc
* Working closely with the senior management team on product development
* Liaising with the business teams to help them execute on contracts
Key Requirements:
* Qualified lawyer, ideally 4+ years PQE. Common law or England&Wales legal qualification is desired but candidates from other jurisdictions will be considered.
* Previous financial services experience would be a plus but not a prerequisite.
* Autonomous individual who is able to work collaboratively within the wider business and legal team
*Candidates with the prerequisite experience outside of the PQE stated will also be considered for the role
