The East Sutherland Integrated Health and Social Care Service is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 Physiotherapist. The position is based at Lawson Memorial Hospital, with support duties at the sister community hospital in Bonar Bridge during leave periods.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate high clinical expertise in assessing and managing both older and younger adults with complex needs. Responsibilities include working within multidisciplinary teams in inpatient and community settings, handling medical, neurological, and orthopaedic conditions. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
The post involves assisting physiotherapy colleagues with daily department operations, including supervising junior staff, support workers, and students. Evidence of ongoing professional development and knowledge of NHS policies are required.
Applicants must hold a UK-approved physiotherapy degree and be HCPC-registered. NHS experience is desirable. A full UK manual driving license is essential; access to a personal vehicle may be required, with a pool car available.
This is a permanent, part-time position (up to 37 hours/week), aligned with service needs.
