The St Helens & Knowsley Early Intervention in Psychosis Team is seeking a part-time practitioner, operating from 9am to 5pm.
Are you seeking a career change and enjoy working in a challenging yet rewarding environment? Do you want to enhance your existing skills and experience? Consider joining our Early Intervention in Psychosis team, which works with individuals aged 14 to 65 experiencing a first episode of psychosis.
We are looking for qualified, motivated, enthusiastic, and self-directed mental health practitioners to join as Care Co-ordinators, with opportunities to be part of our assessment team. You will manage the patient journey from triage and assessment to providing interventions supporting recovery from psychosis.
The service offers managerial and clinical supervision from specialists, along with in-house training on psychological formulation, Family Interventions, CBT skills, and assessment skills. Experience in a community setting is preferred but not essential.
Service users will be assigned to teams based on GP location and catchment area. As a practitioner, you will work within a team to deliver safe, efficient, and effective care, providing evidence-based interventions aligned with NICE guidelines.
Each team includes a lead Consultant Psychiatrist, Team Leader, Clinical Lead, Care Coordinators, Psychology Team, Family Therapists, Support Time Recovery Workers, and IPS workers. You will collaborate with all team members to ensure a holistic, recovery-focused approach.
You will also partner with other agencies such as CJLT, CRHT, social care, and addiction services to promote collaborative care.
We support professional development through training, supervision, case discussions, and reflective practice. We offer CAARMS training for psychosis assessment and further training in family interventions.
Our team is supportive, with guidance from Service Managers and Clinical Leads.
