Join Our Theatre Assistant Team at Golden Jubilee University National Hospital
Are you interested in working within the operating theatre and supporting registered nurses to provide the best quality care for our patients? If so, this is an exciting opportunity for you.
The theatre department at the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital has 15 theatres and 1 endoscopy room and is currently expanding.
Due to promotion and development of existing staff, we now have opportunities to join our Theatre Assistant Team. This essential role supports the Peri-operative Department by assisting Registered Practitioners in various aspects of clinical care to ensure our patients receive the best possible treatment. You must be willing to work across 6 days per week, including overnight and weekend shifts, and commit to an out-of-hours on-call rota.
You should demonstrate a keen interest in this area and understand what the role entails. Willingness to learn is essential; candidates may already possess an SVQ in Healthcare or be willing to study towards it. Physical fitness and excellent communication skills are also required.
Upon completing necessary competencies, you will progress to a Band 3 position.
