My client has a large portfolio of supported living projects and offers generic housing management and supported housing services. Vacancy Brief: * The role is that of a Supported Living Team Leader * This is a potential temporary to perm job; full-time role, 37.5 hours per week. * Role is based in Basingstoke, Hampshire; in one location but has elements of community-based support. * The working pattern consists of early and late shifts including weekends. * Shift pattern: Early – 9:00 am – 5:00pm. Lates – 1:00pm – 9:00pm * Pay rate for this job role is £13.31 per hour on PAYE * A current Enhanced DBS covering Child and adult’s workforce will be required for this job role. * Full UK Driver’s license and access to a vehicle will be required for this role. * Mileage will be paid at 0.45p per mile for any work-related travel; subject to having business insurance. * Service User group is those who have experienced homelessness, substance misuse and mental health support needs. The Responsibilities: * As a Team Leader, you will provide direct support to higher risk clients requiring more intensive support in specialist services. * In your role as a Team Leader, you will be tasked with the co-ordination and lead responsibility for engagement with formal panels and processes such as MARAC, Safeguarding, team around the child/family, MAPPA, and any multi agency health meetings. * An important aspect of your role will be to ensure application of any agreed screening processes, and make eligibility, referral, allocation and assessment decisions based on risk and client / family or children and young person (as appropriate) need * As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for the co-ordination and development of Level 1 and Level 2 Support Workers * Furthermore, you will Deputise in the absence of the Client Services Manager / Senior Client Services Manager. Skill Outcomes of this role: This role provides an excellent foundation for progressing into other careers that support young people, including youth work, social care, and supported housing services. In addition, you will gain valuable experience in liaising with local authority Housing Benefit departments and the DWP to resolve financial issues, as well as developing strong skills in safeguarding, support planning, and multi-agency working to achieve the best outcomes for young people.
