Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Hillingdon Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience We are looking for a Finance Business Partner – Adult Social Care this role will be: UB8 1UW Hybrid The right candidate will: * To work alongside a Service Directorate management team to support the Head of Finance in ASC providing a full range of financial direction, support and guidance to one or more of the Council’s Directorates and one which provides cross-cutting support on capital and transformation. * To support the Directorates’ Senior Management and their budget managers to deliver their budget management responsibilities. The post holder will be required to translate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders and effectively challenge senior managers, in ensuring robust financial management of each business area. * To provide direct financial support to the Directorates to enable them to develop their strategic financial plans and ensure that the future needs of the service are reflected in the Council’s medium term financial forecasts. * To support the Head of Finance in the provision of high quality financial advice to Corporate Directors, Heads of Service and budget managers across the Directorates through day-to-day management and coordination of a service finance team To discuss this opportunity further please send over an up-to-date CV and give me a call on (phone number removed) If you know someone who would be a good fit for the role, please send over their contact details and get in touch, as we do offer a generous referral fee.
