The role
As a PE Teacher, you will:
7. Teach Physical Education across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE PE / BTEC Sport experience welcomed)
8. Deliver practical PE lessons across a range of activities and sports
9. Teach theoretical components where required
10. Promote teamwork, resilience, and positive behaviour
11. Manage groups safely and confidently in practical settings
12. Differentiate effectively to support pupils of mixed abilities, including those with SEND
13. Maintain a positive, safe, and purposeful learning environment
14. Work collaboratively within the PE department and wider staff team
We’re looking for someone who:
15. Holds QTS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)
16. Has experience teaching PE in UK secondary schools
17. Is confident managing behaviour and safety in practical lessons
18. Has strong organisation and communication skills
19. Is committed to inclusive practice and safeguarding
20. Is reliable, adaptable, and professional
21. Is happy to work PAYE, with clear and transparent pay
This role is suitable for ECTs, experienced teachers, and those returning to the profession.
Pay & contract
22. £163–£ per day, depending on experience
