Job Description:

The role:

* To administer insurance arrangements for clients’ material assets and liabilities, providing professional and efficient service, and assisting with generating new business opportunities and securing new customers.
* To assist with daily inquiries from complex clients and support Account Executives on renewals.


Duties and responsibilities:

* Ensure all Key Performance Indicators are achieved (new business, renewals, cross-selling, profitability) in compliance with FCA regulations.


General Responsibilities:

* Provide broking services to all clients.
* Offer quality service to existing clients, advising, reviewing, arranging, and securing appropriate coverage at competitive premiums.
* Handle new business, mid-term adjustments, and renewals according to company terms and conditions.
* Process instructions regarding insurance arrangements or amendments.
* Respond promptly to telephone inquiries.
* Stay informed of market developments and communicate relevant information to clients and colleagues.
* Accurately input and process new business, amendments, and renewals on the computer system.
* Maintain an up-to-date diary system to ensure timely documentation and payments.
* Exercise judgment in reviewing proposals, consulting senior colleagues or insurers when appropriate.
* Attach correct wordings to certificates, including exclusions, conditions, and warranties for self-issue policies.
* Liaise with insurers, colleagues, and claims teams as needed.


Knowledge required:

* Relevant policies and current market conditions.
* Company-specific procedures.
* FCA rules and guidelines related to Commercial and/or Private Customers.
* Willingness to develop knowledge through ongoing learning.
* Experience in motor fleet insurance.
