Job Overview

Full‑time Regional Service Manager role at Sodexo South Yorkshire. You will lead day‑to‑day operations across 25 sites and approved premises in the South Yorkshire region, ensuring service excellence, profitability and compliance.


Responsibilities

* Lead, develop, and motivate an on‑site team to deliver high‑quality services in line with contract specifications and SLAs.
* Take full accountability for operational service delivery, financial management, client relationships, compliance and people management across all sites.
* Manage the regional P&L account, maximise profitability and enforce effective cost control.
* Act as the operational interface between clients and senior management, promoting positive relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
* Drive continuous improvement, innovation and operational excellence across systems, processes and services.
* Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, company policies, contractual obligations and health & safety standards.
* Support business development and account strategy, identifying growth opportunities for additional services.
* Implement Sodexo’s mission, values and strategies to uphold brand integrity and service excellence.


Qualifications

* Proven experience in operational management in a similar environment.
* Strong people management skills, including recruitment, training and performance management.
* Ability to interpret financial and commercial information to drive decisions.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and numerical skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Self‑motivated, able to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
* Full UK driving licence required; clean licence preferred.


Desirable

* IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
* Experience managing conflicting expectations of clients and consumers within a single business area.
