As a Stores Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Picking, packing and processing incoming orders accurately Replenishing stock and maintaining product displays for customer walk ins Supporting onsite service for key clients by updating components and ensuring parts are available Advising customers at the counter, including farmers, engineers and tradespeople, on suitable parts and alternatives Recommending solutions when machinery breaks down by drawing on your mechanical understanding Visiting clients as required to support stock checks or technical queries. As a Stores Assistant, your experience will include: Practical, hands-on experience repairing or tinkering with machinery, tools, vehicles or equipment Confident customer service skills, ideally in a trade counter, retail, engineering or parts environment Willingness to learn detailed product knowledge across multiple industrial categories Being comfortable working Saturdays as part of the weekly schedule.
