Job Description
3. Develop and execute the IT operations roadmap aligned to business goals
4. Lead and mentor IT support, infrastructure, and web development teams
5. Deliver strategic projects including upgrades, migrations, and system rollouts
6. Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to meet scope, time, and budget
7. Implement governance, reporting, and project tracking frameworks
8. Oversee system performance, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications
9. Manage vendor relationships and SLAs
10. Lead cybersecurity, compliance, policy reviews, and risk management
11. Ensure effective IT support, incident management, and root cause analysis
12. Manage IT budgets, procurement, and asset registers
13. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of IT Operations should have:
14. Demonstrated ability to align IT with wider business strategy
15. Experience preparing and managing IT budgets
16. Proven leadership of IT teams
17. Strong analytical and decision‑making skills
18. Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues
19. Excellent written and verbal communication
20. Highly organised and self‑motivated
21. Minimum two years in a similar role
22. Degree in IT, Communications, or related field
23. Experience with Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange Online
24. Strong knowledge of SharePoint, Intune, cloud storage, backup technologies
25. Understanding of CRM terminology
26. Experience with firewalls, routers, switches
27. Web design and graphics skills
28. Dynamics 365 Business Central (desirable)
