About the Role
Join Harwoods Group, a top 30 UK automotive dealer, as a MET/Panel Technician. You'll lead and carry out MET repairs to manufacturer standards, support the team, and ensure top‑quality, right‑first‑time results.
Responsibilities
* Strip & refit vehicles per job cards.
* Carry out diagnostics & component replacements.
* Ensure correct parts & repair methods are used.
* Sign off QC checks & final inspections.
* Support & mentor team members.
* Help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workshop.
* Ensure the highest standard of repairs are carried out to the manufacturer’s specification, specifically relating to panel replacement and repair.
* Ensure all work is completed to the customer’s satisfaction and strive to exceed their expectations.
Qualifications
* 2+ years’ MET/body shop experience.
* NVQ/ATA/IMI/SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
* Strong mechanical & electrical skills.
* Eye for detail and high‑quality standards.
* Confident, team‑focused, proactive attitude.
