We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to join the friendly Statom Plant team
Location Thurrock (relocating to Barking within the next 12 months)
Working Hours Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00 or 06:00 to 15:00 (split shift)
Key responsibilities
* Daily costings to charge sites
* Generating drivers work schedule and sending to drivers
* Print off paperwork to collate and issue to drivers
* Raising purchase orders for external hauliers
* Dealing with stakeholders, suppliers, job sites
* Applying for movement orders for wide loads/STGO
* Download vehicle and drivers' tachograph cards to upload for analysis
* Assist in the planning/scheduling of logistic operations
Requirements
Experience & skills required
Essential
* Previous experience with logistics operations/requirements administration
* Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office products (word/excel etc
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills
* Ability to work independently and to demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication skills
* High attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively within a team, independently and under pressure
Desired
* Understanding of the construction industry
* Knowledge of logistic operations
* Knowledge/understanding of Drivers' Hours Rules and WTD
* Knowledge of FORS requirements
