We have a number of exciting opportunities across multiple teams, each playing a crucial role in shaping the future of digital services at DWP: DWP Digital Integration - The Digital Integration team have a huge portfolio of systems and are in the midst of replacing most of these legacy integration systems with new, modern, in-house services focussed on Event and API driven architecture and File Transfer. There is barely a project in DWP that does not need integration services so, the teams are involved in almost everything that Digital does. We also provide integration to externals and numerous other government projects. GOV.UK and Signposting team - The GOV.UK and Signposting team are responsible for ensuring people can understand and easily find the support they are entitled to on GOV.UK. We design the user journey as well as manage and maintain all DWP content on GOV.UK. A Senior Agile Delivery Manager is required to lead delivery of valuable outcomes that meet user needs whilst working closely with teams across the organisation and within GDS. Data Enablement - DWP has an ambition to be a data driven department, and to support this, Data Enablement teams prepare and manage data so users can easily understand and readily use it. Our goal is to reduce the time from data to insight by creating a single source of truth for common use cases. We understand the needs of data users and based on this create APIs and curated data sets to enable operational and policy decision making and official statistics. We also provide external APIs and curated data for other government departments and third parties. We're looking for a candidate that will: Champion Agile Delivery - Lead teams using Agile frameworks, ensuring efficiency and value driven outcomes. Drive High Performance - Motivate and mentor teams to work collaboratively, optimising workflows and maximising productivity. Remove Barriers - Identify and eliminate impediments, keeping teams focused and moving forward. Engage Stakeholders - Build strong relationships with product owners, engineers, and business leaders to align goals and expectations. Ensure Quality and Continuous Improvement - Foster a culture of feedback, learning, and iteration to enhance ways of working. Data and Metrics - Use key Agile metrics and insights to drive decision making and optimise delivery performance. This job role may be suitable for hybrid working, which is where an employee works part of the week in their DWP office and part of the week from home. This is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement and your office will be your contractual place of work. The number of days that anyone will be able to work at home will be determined primarily by business need but personal circumstances and other relevant circumstances will also be taken into account. If you are successful, any opportunities for hybrid working, including whether a hybrid working arrangement is suitable for you, will be discussed with you prior to you taking up your post. Salary Information Pay for this role is from £55,557 to £66,058. The maximum salary for the grade is £66,058, however a Digital Allowance of up to £9,690 per annum is available for exceptional candidates. Digital Allowance is non-salary, and non-pensionable, and is classed as a temporary allowance. It is reviewed annually where it could be retained, amended, or removed. Our offer to successful candidates will be based on an assessment of your skills and experience as demonstrated at interview. Existing Civil Servants who secure a new role on lateral transfer should maintain their current salary. Existing Civil Servants who gain promotion may move to the bottom of the grade pay scale or 10% increase in salary whichever would be the greater.
