Job Responsibility:
Position: Engineering Site Supervisor
Location: 60 London Wall EC2M 5TQ
Hours: 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday
As the post holder, you will have extensive knowledge of building services (mechanical, electrical, plumbing & associated assets). You will be responsible for inspection, operation, and maintenance of all MEP assets across the site, focusing on risk management and service quality enhancement.
You will support the Account Manager in daily MEP operations and lead the engineering team at 60 London Wall, adhering to Integral/JLL processes. You will also serve as an authorized person for LV electrical systems and critical infrastructure, issuing PTWs and ensuring safety compliance.
Your role includes managing daily operations, providing technical support, and participating in meetings and reporting. You will lead the on-site team, manage MEP systems, assist with electrical shutdowns, oversee vendor services, and ensure safety and compliance with all regulations and procedures.
Additional responsibilities include reporting, safety activities, documentation management, subcontractor vetting, procurement, training, risk assessment, continuous improvement, and sometimes working outside normal hours.
Personal Specification:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in building maintenance, including critical environments. LV Authorised Person certification or ability to obtain it. Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent, with C&G Part 1 & 2, or similar, and 18th Edition wiring certification. Strong communication, IT, report writing skills, and the ability to work under pressure are essential. Physical fitness and a proactive attitude are required. Additional desirable qualifications include C&G 2391 testing and HV authorization, but these are not mandatory.
