Main duties of the job

Main duties:

1. Provide visible, inspirational, and collaborative leadership to drive service implementation, innovation, and continuous improvement.
2. Champion high-quality, safe, and compassionate patient care, promoting best practice across the service.
3. Act as a senior Trust representative, supporting multidisciplinary teams and fostering collaboration across acute, community, and primary care.
4. Advocate for service integration within the acute hospital and across the wider BNSSG system.
5. Manage resources effectively and contribute to clinical governance, quality assurance, and change management initiatives.

Essential criteria

6. Current professional registration
7. Able to demonstrate successful change management
8. Able to show clinical leadership such as ward manager, team leader etc
9. Full current driving licience

Desirable criteria

10. Experience of community working
11. Experience of discharge processes
12. Experience of acute care
13. Experience of collaborative working such as multi team or multi trust groups

The successful applicant(s) will normally commence at the minimum of the scale unless they have previous NHS service at the same band. Progression through the scale is by annual increments.
