As an EYFS Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, child-centred learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework. You will support children’s academic, social, and emotional development, ensuring they build strong foundations in communication, early literacy, numeracy, and independence. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality, play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS framework Create a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment Observe, assess, and track children’s development accurately Differentiate activities to meet the needs of all children, including SEN and EAL Support children’s social, emotional, and personal development Promote positive behaviour, routines, and independence Work closely with teaching assistants and EYFS colleagues Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding progress and wellbeing Contribute to planning meetings, staff meetings, and school initiatives Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will: Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) Have recent experience teaching in EYFS Have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework Be caring, patient, and enthusiastic Have excellent classroom management and organisational skills Be creative, reflective, and child-focused Be committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing The school is located in Beckenham, with good transport links and a welcoming local community.
