What we offer: Opportunity to develop experience in a dynamic environment Supportive and friendly team culture 28 days holiday per year (including bank holidays) Additional paid leave Free on-site parking Access to Dams employee hub with hundreds of retailer discounts Health cash plan (employer funded) Death in service insurance (employer funded) Employee 'Above and Beyond' awards Employee wellbeing services & onsite events Key responsibilities: Design and develop furniture products that align with brand identity and market trends Conduct research to understand requirements and find gaps in the market Develop furniture designs and ideas from concept to production Ensure product concepts are technically feasible, commercially viable and usable Generate 3D models which are compliant with appropriate standards and procedures Source the right materials that not only produce high-quality products, but also considers sustainability, durability, and cost-efficiency Researching and integrating components and fittings Create and oversee prototypes for new products to sample and quality test Ability to produce 3D visuals and high-resolution renders Present concepts and design iterations to stakeholders with clear rationale and supporting documentation Generate and maintain documentation for all projects, including specifications, BOMs, etc. Experience & Knowledge required Demonstrable previous experience in a similar role Previous experience in furniture product and soft seating design Degree level qualification in product design Strong understanding of furniture design, production methods and materials - able to create conceptual designs from sketches to 3D models Proven ability to generate accurate, detailed production drawings Strong eye for aesthetics, knowledge of materials and construction techniques, and the ability to design innovative, functional, and market-ready furniture Good working knowledge of SolidWorks & AutoCAD Ability to work on multiple projects, working to timescales and achieving deadlines Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload If you're ready to bring your creativity and design skills to a company shaping the future of workspaces, wed love to hear from you.
