Social Media Manager
Location: UK (hybrid/remote considered)
We're working with a fast-growing international business operating in a highly regulated consumer goods sector, looking to hire a hands-on Social Media Manager to build and own its organic social presence.
This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of social channels from the ground up and define brand voice in a complex but exciting category.
The Role:
You'll be responsible for leading and executing organic social media activity, with a strong focus on Instagram and TikTok. This is a hands-on role where execution matters just as much as strategy.
You'll work closely with in-house teams across design, content, ecommerce, SEO, PR, and customer engagement, with the autonomy to shape how social supports wider commercial and brand goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own and operate organic social media channels, primarily Instagram and TikTok
* Develop and maintain a consistent, compliant brand voice across platforms
* Plan, create, post, and optimise organic content
* Navigate and work within platform restrictions for regulated products
* Monitor performance and continuously improve content and engagement
* Collaborate cross-functionally to align social with wider marketing activity
* Contribute to the broader social and corporate strategy (including LinkedIn)
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience managing social media for regulated or restricted product categories
* Strong hands-on experience with Instagram and TikTok
* Deep understanding of Meta and TikTok content policies and how to work within them
* UK market expertise; German market experience is a strong advantage
* A practical, execution-focused mindset with strategic thinking capability
* Comfortable owning channels end-to-end, from planning to posting
