Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in a busy hospitality environment. Previous restaurant or bar experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
* Serve drinks and beverages efficiently and accurately to customers
* Take orders and provide friendly, attentive service
* Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area
* Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system
* Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
* Engage with customers to create a welcoming environment
* Follow all health and safety protocols, including responsible alcohol service
* Assist in setting up and clearing tables or bar areas as required
Experience
* Previous experience in hospitality or food service is advantageous but not mandatory
* Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable
* Experience in serving drinks in a busy restaurant or bar setting is preferred
* Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities
* Basic maths skills for handling payments and calculating bills
* Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of customer service
