Skills & Responsibilities: We are looking for Process Engineers early in their career to work on predominately early-stage process engineering activities (i.e., concept, appraise and select studies) Provide operational support and troubleshooting Provide practical solutions to our clients’ challenges, including the requirement to decarbonise oil and gas production in line with the UK's Net Zero obligation. Contribute to winning bids for work Responsible for defined parts of studies Work as part of a multidiscipline team, delivering work under the supervision of one of our lead engineers Present work to clients, virtually and face-to-face, through reports and presentations. Large variety of work, from optimisation studies and concept development to process safety and dynamic simulation studies. Running process simulations, preparing Process Flow Schemes with mass balances and equipment sizes Preparing reports and presentations. Responsible for the delivery of high-quality deliverables, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards and internal procedures. In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development. Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience: Engineering degree, honours or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or similar. Working towards Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Chemical Engineers or equivalent Understanding of relevant safety and environmental industry regulations. Appreciation of oil and gas or related industries with some exposure to delivery of studies. Knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards (American Petroleum Institute, National Association of Corrosion Engineers, Institute of Petroleum, British Standards etc.). Knowledge of tools such as HYSYS or UniSim, performing standard process engineering calculations and developing technical reports. Communication: Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills Behaviour/ Core Competencies: ​​ Adaptable to working in new and changing environments. ​Great organisational skills with good attention to detail. ​Self-discipline to ensure work assignments are delivered within agreed budgets and schedules.
