TrueNorth are working with a growing and transforming regulated organisation in Newcastle who are looking for a Data Governance Manager to join in this newly created role.
As the organisation embarks on their tech transformation, which includes a significant investment and transformation into data, they are looking for a Data Governance Manager to join and support aspects of increasing data literacy, accountability and the safe and proper use of emerging technologies such at AI and LLMs.
We are looking for a builder and operator in this role, you'll have the benefit of a fairly blank slate and the real opportunity to shape and mould a critical area for the org - the other great aspect is that this is happening at the start of the journey with the full backing of the business, not something you're retrospectively trying to put in place.
Key skills and experience required:
* Extensive experience of Data Governance in a Lead or Management position in tech or regulated industries
* Excellent stakeholder management and enagement
* An engaging and personable style to bring people on the journey with you
* Demonstrable experience of working in Data Governance in cloud based data environements
Beneficial:

We have a starting salary of up to £75k plus bonus and excellent benefits (dependant on experience).
The role will be hybrid working from their Newcastle City Centre offices (2 days per week in office).
