Steephill School
Steephill School is seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our warm and welcoming team, supporting pupils within Key Stage 1.

The Role
The successful candidate will:
6. Support teaching and learning within a KS1 classroom
7. Work with individual pupils and small groups to support progress and engagement
8. Help to create a positive, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
9. Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing and social development
10. Work closely with class teachers and the wider staff team
11. Contribute to the wider life of the school
12. Has experience of working with primary-aged children
13. Is kind, patient and nurturing
14. Has good literacy, numeracy and communication skills
15. Works well as part of a team
16. Has high expectations for children’s learning and behaviour
17. Demonstrates flexibility, initiative and enthusiasm
18. Shares the values and ethos of Steephill School
