Kiwa CMT is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Technician to join our team. This role involves on-site work at various construction projects, primarily around the Midlands, with some duties based in our Derby laboratory. You will conduct high-quality testing services, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:
* Carry out geotechnical site and laboratory testing
* Maintain competency and authorization for test procedures
* Ensure equipment calibration and pre-test checks
* Regularly check test equipment and report any failures or damages
* Use and maintain equipment carefully, with weekly checks
* Accurately record test data and results as per procedures
* Maintain good site working practices
Requirements:
* Experience in geotechnical testing
* Knowledge of site and lab-based geotechnical test methods
* Ability to support training of other technicians
* Calibrate test equipment
* Motivated, positive, and focused
* Ability to handle a varied workload
* Strong communication skills and team orientation
* Ability to work independently
* Full UK driving license
* CSCS card
Qualifications & Benefits:
* Starting at 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with options to buy more and increase with service
