Position Purpose
The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will work with internal and external business partners to identify, engage, attract, and acquire talent for the enterprise. The role drives proactive talent strategies, creates robust pipelines, and cultivates external partnerships. The Specialist establishes strategic partnerships with business leaders to understand talent needs, collect market intelligence, and assess cultural fit, leveraging this knowledge to develop and execute recruiting, marketing, and sourcing strategies that align with TAIT’s vision and mission.
Essential Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* Recruit talent for hourly and salaried roles across Project Management, Production, Fabrication, Marketing, Engineering, HR, IT, Finance and other professional functions, covering multiple regions and countries.
* Use intake meetings or kickoff calls to collaborate with hiring managers to define requirements, implement recruiting strategy, and provide weekly communication updates.
* Define and execute sourcing strategies, including social media, external networks, referral programs, organizations, job boards, and more.
* Develop and maintain evergreen talent pipelines for critical and recurring roles using advanced sourcing techniques and nurturing relationships with passive talent.
* Streamline recruiting processes to create positive candidate experiences.
* Represent university relations, establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships with key universities and participating in on‑campus or virtual recruiting events and career fairs.
* Develop, implement, track, and publish metrics that evaluate the health and stability of talent acquisition programs.
* Manage offer and negotiation processes, from pre‑closing through final candidate acceptance.
* Collaborate closely with People Team Coordinator and relevant team members to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
* Participate in project staffing and Talent Acquisition meetings, offering informed recommendations and guidance to stakeholders.
* Perform duties per company policies and expectations, including any additional tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills
* Educational Foundation: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or related field; professional certifications such as CIPD are highly desirable.
* Recruitment Expertise: Extensive experience as a full‑cycle Talent Acquisition professional in a corporate, in‑house environment, recruiting for complex, salaried, and hard‑to‑fill roles across various professional functions.
* Experience in live entertainment, event production, media, TV/Broadcast/Film/theater industries is a plus.
* Advanced proficiency in multi‑channel sourcing strategies, Boolean logic, social media platforms, professional networks, and market mapping to proactively identify passive candidates.
* Strong understanding of recruiting across multiple regions or countries, managing diverse cultural contexts and international talent markets.
* Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* High‑level competency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), data analysis and process optimization; knowledge of JobVite or ADP Lyric is a plus.
* Demonstrated ability to build relationships and strategically influence hiring managers and business leaders to achieve talent acquisition goals.
* Knowledge of current talent acquisition best practices, industry trends, and innovative recruitment methodologies.
* Travel as needed, typically less than 20%.
