About the Role: As a Primary School Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils’ learning and development. Whether working one-to-one or with small groups, your role will be vital in helping children achieve their full potential in a safe and engaging environment. Key Responsibilities of Primary School Teaching Assistant (TA): Support pupils with classroom activities and learning tasks. Assist in managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment. Deliver targeted support to pupils with varying educational needs. Help prepare teaching materials and classroom resources. Monitor and record pupil progress, reporting to teaching staff. Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents. Requirements of Primary School Teaching Assistant (TA): Experience working in a primary school setting is essential. A relevant qualification such as CACHE Level 2/3 or NVQ Level 2/3 in Teaching Assistant or Childcare. A degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field is desirable.
