This is an exciting opportunity to join the Housing Options service in Bristol at a time of positive change.
The cost of Temporary Accommodation is a significant financial challenge for the Council. We have completed a re-design of our service to:
* Increase our success in preventing homelessness.
* End our use of hotels and shared temporary accommodation for families.
* Reduce our use of and spend on Temporary Accommodation.
This new role creates additional leadership capacity to:
* Lead a team that provides oversight, quality assurance, performance reporting and insights to deliver high quality services across Housing Options continuing to embed the principles of the re-design
* Provide leadership in the development, promotion and successful implementation of service development initiatives across Housing Options, which support the Council's Homelessness Strategy.
