We are seeking a motivated HR Advisor to join our growing team, providing Employee Relations (ER) support and generalist HR guidance to management across our Southern region. Key Responsibilities
* Employee Relations Support: Assist with ER cases including disciplinary matters, grievances, and performance management under guidance from line manager
* Management Support: Provide HR advice and guidance to managers, with access to senior HR support for complex matters
* Case Administration: Support case management activities while developing investigation and resolution skills
* Regional Assistance: Act as HR contact for Southern region operations, building relationships with local management
* Policy Application: Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies with support from the wider team
* Professional Development: Actively participate in training and development to build expertise. Opportunities to get involved in project work including change management, employee engagement, L&D, inclusion, wellbeing and benefits
Working Arrangements
* Primary Base: Uxbridge (2-3 days per week)
* Regional Coverage: Regular visits to Aylesford and Basingstoke offices (1 day per week). Occasional National travel and overnight stays
* Flexible Working: 1-2 days working from home
* Team Support: Regular Teams sessions with line manager and HR team for guidance and direction
* Team Engagement: Periodic travel to Midlands locations (Coventry/Bretby) for meetings with line manager and the wider team
Essential Requirements
* HR generalist experience with some exposure to Employee Relations
* Willingness to develop autonomous working skills with appropriate support
* Strong communication skills and eagerness to provide HR advice to stakeholders
* Basic knowledge of UK employment law with commitment to continuous learning
* Professional approach to confidential and sensitive matters
* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel between sites
* Proactive attitude and enthusiasm for professional development
Desirable
* CIPD qualification (Level 5 or working towards)
* Some experience in multi-site environments
* Interest in technical or industrial sectors
