IT Support Officer (1.0 FTE) – Information Technology Department
Location: Glasgow, G3 6RQ (Office based). Permanent, 35 hours per week. Grade 5 (£32,080 per annum).
The role holder will be responsible for the provision of high‑quality IT support and incident response service. The successful candidate will develop departmental processes, procedures and standards, liaise with key stakeholders, both internal and external, and perform remote and on‑site visits to resolve incidents and carry out service desk requests. Working with software deployment for Windows and Mac environments is also required.

Qualifications
Excellent customer service skills are required and previous experience working in an IT service‑orientated environment is essential. The successful IT Support Officer should have a good level of demonstrable experience in a similar role.
Desired technical experience includes:
* Microsoft desktop operating systems and core products such as Azure, Active Directory, and applications for Windows.
* Security tools including antivirus and endpoint protection solutions.
* Apple macOS environments, knowledge of JAMF, and applications for Mac.
