You possess significant experience within children's social care settings, particularly with safeguarding and looked-after children. You have credibility in your area of specialism and are emotionally resilient, capable of leading service improvements. Your experience includes supporting social work students and ASYE social workers. What the Job Involves As an Advanced Social Work Practitioner, you will be responsible for driving service improvements in supporting families, preventing children from needing protection or entering Local Authority care. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary workers, supervise non-social work qualified staff, and create family plans for sustainable change. Your role includes developing high standards of practice, leading by example, and providing group supervision. You will manage complex cases effectively and contribute to service improvements within Worcestershire Children Services. Skills Knowledge of legislative/regulatory framework in children's services Significant experience in statutory social work roles Leadership in practice and achieving strong outcomes Credibility in a relevant specialism Emotional resilience and effective performance under change Professional qualification in social work Social Work England (SWE) registration
